Age Concern Costa Calida’s annual Black & White Ball on Wednesday 11th September was a resounding success. It was held as usual at the open-air venue of Bar La Sal, on Puerto de Mazarron’s new marina – the perfect setting for an evening of dancing, dining and drinking under the stars. Guests were treated to complimentary cava on arrival and La Sal reduced their prices ‘for one night only’ to show their support for the charity. A magnificent buffet was supplied by The Roving Diner and partygoers’ plates were piled high with a feast of food.
The icing on the cake was the combination of Martin Ross and Karen Noble - two class acts who provided the perfect combination of music styles. Martin’s dance music kept the floor full and Karen captivated the audience with her repertoire. Most of the raffle prizes were donated by generous organisations and individuals which helped the charity raise a massive
1228€.
