WHAT DOES AGE CONCERN DO?
CAN WE HELP?
Caring for the Elderly
Age needs respect, it needs kindness and sometimes it needs help.
Together we can ensure that we remain a strong community: one that lives legally here in Spain, takes steps to ensure its own future and does not forget those that need help.
Our aim is to help make life easier and more bearable for many of our residents in their golden years. The emphasis is on self help and enabling the client to take action for themselves.
We offer our services to people over the age of 50.
We Offer:- Information, advice & support in English and if required for accompanied hospital / doctor visits.
Information regarding application forms, residencia, social services and other legal paperwork, wherever possible or ‘signposting’ people to the right organisation so they can get the appropriate help for their needs.
Care Equipment:- We have a range of care equipment that can be borrowed for people who are experiencing difficulties. We have wheelchairs, walking frames, bath chairs, bath seats, raised toilet seats, crutches and other useful vital equipment.
The equipment is well maintained and replaced when necessary. There is no charge for the loan of the equipment, but donations are gratefully accepted.

We have an entertainments committee organizing different events throughout the year, from our Bingo afternoons, games evenings, fayres, dinners and annual Christmas lunch.
Why not come and join in some of our events.
The charity is run on a totally voluntary basis and is self funding. It is only through the generosity, energy and enthusiasm of our volunteers and donors that we can make a difference.
If you would like to offer your services voluntarily, then please contact us on 971 347641.
If you would like to become a Friend of Age Concern Ibiza & Formentera there is an annual subscription fee of €15. (This is per household not per person). Please contact Lyn Carpenter on 677 630514.
You will receive our regular News Letters and friends currently receive a reduction in the price of the Annual Christmas Lunch.
