Hi Folks,
We had a “pre-AGM” meeting to clear the way for our AGM in May. We had a new committee member joined us last month, but would still like more committee members. As usual our life line 634 31 52 89 has been giving out information on various subjects.
We had a long chat about people living on their own and after the meeting, we heard of a Telephone service point for daily calls which will be starting in the Costa del Sol shortly. However, we haven´t had time to investigate this so we will return to this next month.
We “ran out” of volunteers at one point this month; if you could lend a hand on odd occasions, running people to hospital, doctors appointments and the like, or could lend a friendly ear occasionally to those that are house bound, we would love to hear from you. Please ring our life line number 634 31 52 89 if you are interested in becoming a committee member or volunteer.
Each volunteer can work as many or few hours as they wish, on days that they are available; we are always stretched at weekends.
