Well after the relative quiet of the last couple of months, we are expecting a busier time during the summer. As I write this in Bonny Scotland, I look forward to returning to the warmth of Spain, as many of you also do. Our equipment hire always goes up during the holiday period and this year we should be better placed to help with our myriad of equipment; our new store is up and running although there may well be some fine tuning as we go through the summer.

We ask for a deposit on any equipment loaned out; there is no charge although donations are always welcome. The “norms” are wheelchairs and crutches but we have a lot of other items including various walking aids, aids for bed-ridden folks and even splints.
Our helpline will also no doubt be as busy as usual giving out information; whilst we give information free of charge, some of the services we list, like translators or nursing care, do need to paid for by the person requiring that type of help.
