Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva - Donation and Shop

Thank You to Duquesa Charitable Society for their Donation

Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva, was presented with a fantastic donation of 1000€ from the Duquesa Charitable Society of St George at its fourth annual ‘End of Summer Bash’ on Saturday 12 September held in Sabanillas.

This event is organised in conjunction with Fathoms Bar and in collaboration with the Manilva’s Foreign Residents Department. The Society’s main objective is to raise funds to help the less fortunate members of our society, and to provide a platform for others to do the same.

The main aim of Age Concern is to help older people remain full members of society regardless of their needs. The money, for which the charity is very grateful, will go towards assisting volunteers who work in the community with older people, and to purchasing new disability equipment. Age Concern faces ever increasing demands on its resources as more people come forward looking for help and advice. Come and join us by calling 608 458 555.

Thanks go to Dean, Gary and Tony from the Society, and many others who made the event such a success, including the performers who gave their time and energies to the event.
